These are the Members of the Partnership Board

Chris Beilby I am Chris Bielby, Assistant Director, Adult Social Services. I co-chair the Partnership Board and represent Wandsworth Council’s Adult Social Services department. I am responsible for managing all the staff who work in social services with people with learning disability and people with mental health difficulties and, together with my management team, for developing services to meet local people’s needs.

Hello, I'm Angela Edwards, the Black Carers Facilitator- Outreach/Assessment officer.

I have worked to support people with learning disabilities in Wandsworth for  nearly 19 years

David Towell David Towell is Visiting Senior Lecturer in Social Policy at St. George's  Hospital Medical School and has an older sister with profound disabilities. He is Champion for the work we are doing in Wandsworth to ensure each person gets the opportunities and support they individually need to live their life as they want.
Angie Avis My name is Angie Avis I am the Head of Physiotherapy for the Community Team. I have been working in Wandsworth for over twenty years. I am committed to the work of the Partnership Board and have a particular
focus on developing and improving services for people with complex needs.
 
Hello, I'm Chris Albury, the Carers Rep.

I am a carer of a daughter with a learning disability so I have some knowledge of the problems that face carers. I have worked in the borough as Senior Family Support Worker for Mencap. I have held this post for eleven years.

I sit on the Wandsworth Partnership Board representing Carers' views. This is also a chance for me to feedback to the carers on what happens at meetings. 
Denise Hill My name is Denise Hill. I work for Advocacy Partners. I am the self advocacy development worker and also do some professional advocacy work. I support a member of the Speak Out group at the Partnership Board.

Along with Linda, I  attend Partnership Board meetings to contribute to developing and consolidating the transition service between the children's team and adult team.

I am the Champion for Communication and leading on the development of a communication strategy for Wandsworth.

Important projects we are working on are the development of this website and a picture bank website, communication champions, communication training and accessible information.

 SUE COOPER Hello, I'm Sue Cooper. I am Deputy Director of Nursing at St George's Healthcare and the Trust lead for Safeguarding Adults.

I have a great interest in improving access to our hospital services for people with learning disabilities and their families.  I try to work in partnership with other people and other agencies to make that happen.
